TAVI
Tavi (scots for twin) - is a Flame Point snowshoe - he is the only other male in Agate's litter of 6. He and brother Ruairi are the two largest kittens. Tavi unlike Ruairi has short fur and rings on his tail. He is gregarious, playful, and likes to be held. He is 3 months old and is already near his Mom Agate's size. He and his littermates (Cara, Roisen, Marina, Petit, and Rory) are self entertaining and will play with just about anything. Toys can be anything with him! He is really a cuddle bug and a big love! He and any of his littermates would be a great pair for any home.

Fostered in Livermore (can be met in Roseville by appt)

Notes from Home
It's been a year today, October 7th, that Yuri / Tavi came to live with his fur "brother" Koby and fur "sister" Zoey who we adopted from Pacific Siamese Rescue a few years ago. He is pretty shy, especially around newcomers and so far has not willingly sat in my lap, but he is otherwise sweet and playful....and hungry. Anytime he hears a dish or fork rattle in the kitchen he magically appears.
Here are some recent photos.

BILLY
Boris a traditional Seal Point Balinese. He and several others were rescued - all - bone thin and suffering from neglect. With food and lots of TLC he has bounced back and is healthy AND eager for adoption.
Boris loves laps, and he won't wait for you to offer yours! He will walk up over your lap to give you head butts to your chin. If you are a little slow in this he will tell you so. Boris LOVES catnip. He will roll around and look like he is hugging the floor. It makes him very happy and comical. He is also very very fond of chasing the feathered wands. He WILL chase this toy (the BIRD) until he is exhausted. He is FAST and can do amazing twist/turns and flips in order to catch this thing. He on occasion will decide you are also too slow to pick him up - so he will jump into your arms. Hard to explain but you can tell when he is thinking about doing this. He sort of gathers himself and he has an intent look and then he is up in the air ready for you to catch him. Boris is a great companion kind of cat. Between him and Natosha you will always be entertained.
As a pair these litter-mates compliment each others purrsonalities very well. Boris and Natosha love people, laps, attention and will reward you with their companionship and love!

Natasha and I are together forever!!!

Boris has a new name: Billy. He acclimated immediately to his new surroundings and a trip to the vet cleared up a little eye discharge he had when we adopted him. He and his sister( Natosha before, now Gracie) make quite the pair and are so much fun to have around the house. Thanks to all of you at your organization for helping to make such wonderful things happen.

GRACIE
Natosha - a traditional Seal Point Balinese. Natosha and several others were rescued - all - bone thin and suffering from neglect. With food, and lots TLC she has bounced back is healthy now and ready for her forever home.
Despite the neglect 'Tosha suffered, she is very friendly, affectionate, and playful. Natosha is the quiet one of the pair. She is playful, does chat with you - but quietly. She enjoys feathered wands and laser lights. She is dog tolerant (as is Boris). She has a very laid back kind of purrsonality. Natosha has filled out into a beautiful Balinese silky coat. The Balinese coat requires no special treatment or care and does not mat.
Natosha loves people, laps, and all the attention you can or will give her. She will give you companionship and love. She is a darling cat and with Boris are an unbeatable pair! They both like people very much and like to nuzzle and head buts. They are a pair of wonderful affectionate companions.

Boris and I are will be together always!

GRIFFIN
Griffin the Seal Point is the only other male in the Livermore kitten pride. Griffin has short plush fur and bright blue eyes. Griffin has the traditional Siamese body and many of the traditional Siamese features. He has cute banded whiskers (alternating light/dark down the length of each whisker). He has grown into a darling young boy who loves attention and can be held. Griffin enjoys playing with the other kittens and attempts to entice the adult fosters into play as well. He is one of the kittens who will climb into your lap and settle down for a snooze or for pets. Griffin was only about 10oz and 4 weeks old when he arrived here. He has already surprised us all with his resilience and his gentle (but fun) personality.

Yeah Shanna and I are on our way to Elk Grove - (what's an Elk?)

Notes from Home
Griffin and Shanna are doing great. It's been five weeks and they both seemed to have adjusted well. Griffin was right at home after only a couple of days. Willow is slowly getting less skittish and friendlier. She will not stay on a lap for very long, but a few times she has laid down next to me on her own and slept.
I renamed Shanna a few weeks ago, her new name is Willow.

My existing cats, Kendall and Mya, have also adjusted very well. At first Mya was a little bit upset (some hissing), but she now likes the kittens. In fact, when they're not in the same room with her she will sometimes go looking for them. Mya has even been enticed to play with the kittens too.

I've attached a couple of pictures. The first picture shows all four cats. Griffin is on the far right, Willow is on the far left. In the second photo (on top of the scratching post) Griffin is on the left, Willow is on the right.

ETHEL
Ethel (her name means noble) is a half Siamese Ticked Orange Tabby. Orange cats are also called red cats, ginger cats, and marmalade tabbies. She is a like having sunshine in your home and heart. She will brighten any room with her presence and will cheer up the lives of the family lucky enough to adopt her. Ethel is a rich butterscotch color, very faint stripes, a pink nose and foot pads and big gorgeous gold eyes. Ethel is friendly, really playful and likes nothing better than to be in your arms, on your lap, or sleeping next to you. She has a lovely soft purr, soft growly voice, and does talk. Ethel loves to chase the red bug (laser point), those wild and crazy birds on a stick (wand toy), and to raid my fabric scrap bag for fleece scraps to drag around as a catch. Ethel is self entertaining, and frequently you can hear her talking to her toys. She is social with all the other cats and kittens and gets along with those little aliens -(our Dachshunds). Ethel is sprightly, beautiful, and mellow and will be a wonderful companion.

I get to stay in Livermore with my new family!

Notes from Home
All is supremely well! We love Ethel! She is such a great cat that we can't believe that she went un-adopted for 2 years! She really is everything we could have hoped for and more! She seems to really like it here too. She is all settled in and feeling quite comfortable with us and with guests. She has a favorite spot to take in the sun and likes lots of attention at night. We just had someone new over today and they commented that she was such a friendly cat (not knowing she was new to us)! We LOVE her, thank you, thank you! :)

WHISPER
My name is Samurai, but once we are friends you may call me Sammy. I am a wonderfully long, lean lilac point boy. Although I am declawed I get along very well with Hiroki and Otis in my foster home. I just arrived before the Holidays but it is already pretty clear that I am a real cuddle bug- once I know you that is. I love to sit on your lap and you can never pet me enough. I have a loud purr and love to snuggle. I am a shoulder cat and like to explore from there. That may be my thing, because once I am on the floor, I am a little more timid. Foster mom feels that I should go best into a home with some cat experience. One more thing, I want to go home with my buddy Hiroki if at all possible, we are a great team. Local adoption only, please...

I am a very lucky boy. Trisha and Ken will take me home, I will have sunny places to hang out and buddies to play with. Going home soon.

We have renamed him Whisper - he "talks" all the time in his soft raspy voice and it just fits.
Whisper and Smore are best buds. They love to hang out in the atrium most of the day, soaking up the sun and being lazy. He is getting more confident every day, and really takes his cues from Smore. Sometimes he will lean into Smore, and when he sees he's not nervous, then Whisper is calmer. He quickly learned (from Smore) that Vespa is no threat and now they have become real friends. They chase each other (Whisper often starts it) and sleep together. And Vespa cleans Whisper's
>ears and he really likes it.

CARLEY
Meowmy calls me a puppy in kitty clothing. I run around at her heels when she's home, and grab around her ankles if she doesn't notice me often enough. I also love to play fetch--my favorite toy being Meowmy's ponytail holders. Someday she'll find where I've hidden the whole stash. Most mornings, my sister, Esme, or I will bring one of them to Meowmy and put it by her pillow, so that when she wakes up we can play before she gets out of bed. And while, of course bed time at night requires play time, too, I always settle down so we can all get our daily 20 hours of sleep (or is that just us kitties?). Meowmy also calls me her "Little Water Baby," because I love to get into the shower in the mornings, and I can't get enough of the fresh water from the bathroom faucet (Meowmy has tried to retrain me out of this, but I am determined to train her instead!). Other nicknames she calls me are Gorby and Milk because I have a white spot on my back where it looks like someone spilled melted ice cream on me; and she also calls me "Bug" because I'm her little love bug. With all my mischief, I try to be very good in other ways. I sit very still when I get my claws clipped (although Meowmy found the trick is to warm up the clippers first so they aren't so cold on kitty paws!). I'm a great T.V. buddy, and as I've already said, I love to play fetch almost any time of day. While they say a dog is man's best friend, I think I can give those pooches a run for their money. Hey, don't take my word for it, come and meet me; I'll show you. I can't wait!

Carley is in the moment, always ready for the next adventure of exploration or getting to know our older cat Ashley. He's a lover and loves new people and activities around the house Always curious he pokes into everything. His sister Esme follows devotedly and they curl up together to sleep between me and Christopher at night. Carley likes to held high on my shoulder so he can see the world even better.
