Notes from Home
What ladiesl!! Although we have had these girls (Shay-Ling and Mei-Ling) for only a few months, we feel as though they have been with us forever. I don't know how else to describe them except to say (as our vet put it) they are elegant. I don't know how we got along without them. Diana M. (the girls foster mom) told us "They never walk anywhere they can run." That is the truest statement ever. Since these two young ladies have the total run of the house (and believe me, they do run the house), they enjoy chasing one another, or just running for the shear joy of it. They seem to have adjusted to their new surroundings with very little hesitation. The first night was a little scary for them, new surroundings and sounds. But the following day they owned the place. They are inqusitive about everything, and leave no stone unturned. They are currently discovering just how easy it is to open the cupboard doors. They are both quite adept at that little trick.
Mei-Ling has just mastered opening drawers. What a treat to find a kitter rummaging through stuff in the middle of the night. She (Mei-Ling) is also an accomplished chicken thief. We mistakenly left some chicken in the sink to thaw one day, and before we knew it, that young lady had not only eaten part of it, she invited her friend to join in the festivities. We dined on gormet hot dogs that night.
Will share more when they find new adventures, so stay tuned. Thank you Siamese Rescue.

OLIVIA
I have the spirit of a lioness. Bold, confident, cute, and I know what I want. Hey, what's wrong with that????
I have met two PSR foster moms, and bewitched both of them within minutes. Now it's your turn to fall under my spell...
This little girl is something else. About once a year our family gets a kitten who has all the Siamese spirit and more. This young lady is that one. Full of spirit and confidence and a joy to be around. Her self-assurance, confidence, and personality will enchant and delight you.
Fostered in San Jose
Rolando and I met, and we both knew it was meant to be. I'm living the life in Dublin, being treated like a queen, and getting to know my new brother Cucho. I am a very lucky girl!

Notes from Home
Cucha is doing well. She is the master of the house. She makes Cucho and myself follow her schedule. In August she went for her one year vet visit and every thing is normal. Her shots were updated. She is a very independent little lioness but at the same time she is so affectionate (when she wants to be) She never gets in bed with me when I go to bed. But after about an hour I can feel her jumping to her side of the bed.
Cucho and Cucha play all the time, they also have little fights once in a while, at the beginning I thought that Cucho was the one that initiated all the fights but quickly I realized that Cucha initiated some of the fights as well. They don't really fight, it's more posturing and chasing each other up and down the stairs.
Cucha was a perfect addition to our home. She took over in no time at all. I am including a couple of pictures of her.
Thank you for letting Cucha adopt me and Cucho.

BROOKS
Brooks is a Seal Point 4 month old kitten. He is sleek, long legged, slowly filling out, and on the small side. Friendly and fun! He is always to be found in a lap , on your shoulder, OR trying his best to reach you. He is VERY friendly and wants very much to be with you if not ON you. He is game for anything with a feather! He can bounce and pounce with all sized cats or kittens and knows no stranger. He is a little lover boy.
WOW am I lucky or what - I will be a traveling th USA with Dawn and John!

Kody has been the best addition to our family. He purrs all the time even when he is playing. Kody and his sibling Squirty get along very well. Kody is very active and likes to chew everything, nothing goes unchecked in our house. He is a goofy boy always looking for a laugh. We love him very much.

SHAMUS
Please meet Shamus. This sweet Seal Point boy is long lean and and very sporty. Yes, he likes to play, jump but also never says no to a cuddle session. His favorite foster brother is Benji and they just love to hang out. Shamus has good looks :) and a great personality, in other words this little boy is just perfect. Here you see him relaxing in the morning sun :) Celine and I have gone home with Cheryl and Steven. We cannot wait to meet our new siblings. Life is great. Fostered in Pacifica

Notes from Home
Sai is a lover boy! He loves to snuggle and purr, in fact he's a mama's boy and I love it! He gets along great with our other cats and is very sweet and gentle. He also plays like crazy, all long-legs, running and jumping with abandon. In the mornings, they'll run through the house. Sometimes he's in front being chased, and then he's the chaser on the way back.
His fur is getting dark and gorgeous and he's very well-mannered. Well, except when we're eating - he's kinda obsessed with people food and he grabbed a scallop off my plate once! He has a funny little mouse squeak voice. Our family is complete with Sai and Celine!

Notes from Home
Celine is an awesome cat and a perfect example of shy kitties needing an opportunity and a little time to feel comfortable. She was in foster care quite awhile (thank you foster mom!) and she's just the best cat. She gets along great with our other cats and she continues to share more and more of her quirkiness with us.
She is crazy about pom poms and carries them around the house squealing. She recently discovered how much she LOVES mouse-on-a-wire. And then when we played mouse-on-a-wire on the scratching post, she discovered how great scratching posts are! Yeah!!! She follows me to bed every night for scratchies and little kisses and loves being brushed. She is our beauty queen!

AUSTIN
Austin - Doll Faced Himalayan -- - Austin was found with open wounds to his tail and hide quarters - he appeared to have been attacked by another animal - probably NOT a wild animal-it is doubtful he would have survived. He completely recovered in less than a month and is now good to go. He is very sweet natured and just plain gorgeous. Austin is a doll faced Himalayan. The doll faced Himalayans (also fondly referred to as Himmys) have a normal looking face, with a normal nose that is proportional to its head size. Austin has large, expressive eyes, chubby cheeks with small, rounded ears set wide apart.
It is Austin's personality that really wins hearts. He is sweet, gentle, loyal, and a wonderful companion cat, he is also very playful and funny. He is generally very social and a good companion. He is typical of a Himalayan cat with the somewhat shorter legs that makes it harder for him to jump as high as other cats do. He will thrive on attention! This Himmy definitely wants to be with you, follow you around the house and "help" you with your chores. He has a very soft voice and is generally a quiet cat.
Because he has a full, long coat, daily grooming is recommended. (Combing is actually better for keeping mats down.) This prevents matting and lowers the possibility of hairballs. Austin will love the attention. He has been trained for grooming and will sit quietly while you brush or comb him. He does object if you pull too hard on a snarl. The worse he has ever done has been to nip and he has yet to break skin. He has wonderful manners. Having a professional groomer clipping back the coat for the hot weather (once a year) is also an option and is not that expensive.

Austin's name has not changed-he's still Austin. He lives in Alameda with 2 other older Siamese kitties and an older cockatiel bird. All who meet him think he's the sweetest! His adoptive "parents" feel the same. Here he's playing with his favorite toy, the mouse-on-a-fishing-line.

BUBBLES - '08
Bubbles is the third sister ( Blossom & Buttercup) of this litter named after the Power Puff girls! She is a beautiful Torbie (Tortoiseshell and Tabby markings) with a rainbow of neutral colors, and the cutest red/orange toes! She is fiesty, curious, friendly, and will be a lap kitty. She will run to greet me when I come into their room and purrs immediately when you pick her up and pet her. When she purrs her little body vibrates and she will cuddle into your arms. She is petite and will probably be small as an adult. She has very large doll like eyes with bunny soft fur. Bubbles is a lot like her name - bouncy, cheerful, and just a happy little soul.
Update: Bubbles is growing but will be a small adult. She has NO problem playing and attacking the larger males and she wins as much as she loses! She loves chasing a laser point and will jump incredible leaps to try and snag it! She also like to sit on your shoulder and purr into your ear. Bubbles has a very special purrsonality.

Notes from Home
Rylie (Bubbles) is such a little character! She celebrated her first birthday back in April! She is such a talkative and energetic little girl. When we adopted her, she gained an older sister, Abby. She and Abby have become inseperable and can often be found napping together on the couch. One of her favorite things to do is sit on our shoulder when we're sitting on the couch and purr into our ears. She has been a wonderful addition to our family and we are so thankful to have found such a special little girl. Her personality is definitely one of a kind! She also enjoys playing hide and seek with us at nighttime. She'll hide and then jump out from her hiding place when she hears us coming. She is a very loyal girl and we are so fortunate to be entertained by her daily! Please check out some recent pictures of Rylie!

BUTTERCUP - '08
Buttercup is a LH Tortie point - and also named after one of the Power Puff sisters. Little Buttercup like her sister Bubbles is a bouncing ball of fluff, very sweet and lots of fun. As a pair they are just adorable and just about the cutest kittens I've ever fostered. Buttercup and Blossom have each one red tipped ear and are mixed shades of very pretty soft browns, medium grays and red.

Roxy (AKA Buttercup) is a sweet and loving mama's girl. She is very talkative and she and her sister Mischa follow me all over the house. She loves to cuddle and play. Like her sister she has beautiful, soft fur and a very fluffy tail. She has become quite the Houdini and can open doors all by herself. She and her sister are a joy and I am so happy I brought them home.

BLOSSOM - '08
Blossom is a 5 week old LH Tortie Point with white. She is named after one of the Power Puff sisters. She and her litter mates were turned into the Pound probably without their Mother. They had been outdoors somewhere as they had terrible fleas and were somewhat dirty. They were given 1 day at the pound to be placed BUT a very kind hearted person added them to her batch of bottle babies and contacted us for placement. She is a large puff of fur that bounces everywhere and has a light fun manner about her.
Stay tuned for Photos!

Notes from Home
Mischa (AKA Blossum) is my little monkey. She is inquisitive, sweet, outgoing and loves people. She loves to explore and will try to crawl into anything. She is very bold but does fear the scary vacuum cleaner. She has stayed very petite but what she lacks in size she makes up for in soft fluffy fur. She loves to play and wrestle with her sister Roxy (AKA Buttercup). When she gets tired she becomes the sweetest lap cat. She and her sister are a joy. I couldn't be happier.
