Hi Elva,
Rory is so awesome. Everyday he becomes less skittish and Meo and he are becoming fast friends. He ventures out to all parts of the house now as long as no strangers are around. Here is a photo of Rory and Meo from this morning. Rory is the one facing the camera! As you can see they look a lot alike!

I'm the most mellow, soft, sweet boy you'll ever want to meet! i got my long, lanky good looks and intelligence from my Siamese mom April. Don't be fooled by my serious expression.... I am FULL of it! Going to be a big boy too....largest in the litter by far I am....maybe that's cause I miss NO meals ever! love my tucker!
My favorite thing is my pet toy Octopus (see pic).....I often carry him around in my mouth for hours...sometimes talking sweet nothings to him...very cute I'm told! I LUV tummy rubs and wand toys....oh oh and the laser toy too please! My foster mom occasionally lets me restyle her hair as well! I'm multi talented you see! And check out my super long white legs huh....I luvs to show them off at every opportunity!
I'm all neutered and health as an ox.....never known a bad day in my life as I was born here on Easter day last year thanks to PSR saving my dear expecting mummy at the shelter. Wanna spend my birthday together this year ????? Sounds great to me!!

Andre is getting braver and coming out from under the bed. He's starting to jump up on the bed with me and demanding that I pet him and scratch his chin - which I'm happy to do. Under the bed is still his safe zone, but he's started to explore the rest of the apartment slowly. I'm very happy with his progress.

So - are you looking for an interactive kitty?? I am your guy...hee hee...I am VERY vocal - I let you know when I think I am alone...or I can't find my favorite toy...or - I FOUND my favorite toy. Whatever the occasion, I have a lot to say. I love sitting on your lap and will let you know when I am done - hmmm - what is done? That hasn't happened yet. I love my humans and kitties alike. I will be happy with a furry kitty friend who will keep me busy because that's the way I roll...Being an only cat is not an option for me. Raffi has been a terrific experience. He is a busy guy and really really loves my parakeet - as in would love to have my parakeet as his main course. He seems to be avoiding my macaw tho! Raffi is a character and just jumped into loving our family the first night at home. He was under the guest room bed for about 3 hours and he couldn't stand it anymore - up he jumped, onto the bed for a tummy rub and he has been very affectionate ever since. He has integrated well with our other cats - I actually got him for my Balinese, Loki, who really needed a friend his age to play with. They are still playing and will probably be at it another 12-15 years. They race around, up and down, in and out and have a ball. Raffi likes to sit on my chest when I am trying to read a book - a true Balinese - he wants the attention, exclusively. We are so thrilled with Raffi and your organization for providing us with the perfect fit. I personally will be forever grateful to you for providing a way station to a loving home for Raffi. He was so very lucky you took him in and made it a priority to find him a loving family.

JULIANNE
I am a lithe, long, sleek runway model kitty. In addition to being small (6 #) and perfectly proportioned, I LOVE people and attention. Josh's and my person died, and we got taken to the shelter. I am such a sweet and loving girl that it was a big change!
I'm glad to be back in a home, and my foster family says they love having me here. Still, I can't wait until I find my forever home so I can nudge and cuddle and love my very own person forever. I have so much love to give someone, and I can't wait to meet them... maybe it's you??

Notes from Home
It was one year ago today that the beautiful Lady Gat (formerly Julianne) joined my family. I hardly remember what life was like before her. To wake up without the Lady sprawled beside me on the bed? To come home from work without finding her waiting for tummy rubs on “her” heated bathroom floor? To live in a house that doesn’t have at least one sparkly cat toy in every room? Absolutely unthinkable now. She’s just been a joy – thanks PSR for bringing us together!

CARLISLE
Meowmy calls me a puppy in kitty clothing. I run around at her heels when she's home, and grab around her ankles if she doesn't notice me often enough. I also love to play fetch--my favorite toy being Meowmy's ponytail holders. Someday she'll find where I've hidden the whole stash. Most mornings, my sister, Esme, or I will bring one of them to Meowmy and put it by her pillow, so that when she wakes up we can play before she gets out of bed. And while, of course bed time at night requires play time, too, I always settle down so we can all get our daily 20 hours of sleep (or is that just us kitties?). Meowmy also calls me her "Little Water Baby," because I love to get into the shower in the mornings, and I can't get enough of the fresh water from the bathroom faucet (Meowmy has tried to retrain me out of this, but I am determined to train her instead!). Other nicknames she calls me are Gorby and Milk because I have a white spot on my back where it looks like someone spilled melted ice cream on me; and she also calls me "Bug" because I'm her little love bug. With all my mischief, I try to be very good in other ways. I sit very still when I get my claws clipped (although Meowmy found the trick is to warm up the clippers first so they aren't so cold on kitty paws!). I'm a great T.V. buddy, and as I've already said, I love to play fetch almost any time of day. While they say a dog is man's best friend, I think I can give those pooches a run for their money. Hey, don't take my word for it, come and meet me; I'll show you. I can't wait!

Meowmy named me Esme, after the beautiful and charming vampire in the "Twilight" series--but I promise I don't bite! I love having my face, tummy and paws pet. I love to play games with Meowmy and my brother, Carlisle. I like to play fetch with Meowmy's ponytail holders and my catnip fortune cookie, and stand at the shower door and watch the water fall. Meowmy also found that she has to keep the catnip under lock and key, because I get a lilttle loopy when I get a new catnip toy. Most people find me shy, and Meowmy is always at a loss to explain, because every morning she wakes up to find me invading something she calls her "personal space," and every evening I stretch out on Meowmy when she's wearing her snuggie, and I streeeeeetch out as long as can be. Some chalk this up to "toritude" but I just call it loyalty to the one(s) I love. I am very quiet, and don't talk much, but Meowmy calls me "Twitter" because when I purr my little heart out, I make a little squeaky "twitter" noise. In fact I love cuddles. Why don't you come and meet me and let me invade YOUR personal space.

Esme wakes me mornings by lightly trotting over me and wanting a tummy rub. She follows her brother Carley (short for Carlisle) everywhere and learns his tricks like drinking out of the sink faucet. Wherever Carley goes, and he's a adventuresome explorer, Esme is a few steps behind. Gentle as she is with me, she holds her ground with Ashley, a 14 pound 10 year old cat who wishes the usurpers never arrived. Carley hisses just as ferociously and in a pinch she hightails it up to her turf in the bedroom. SHe's also a chow hound.

Today is 1 year since I brought Lucy home and things are still great. Crosby and Lucy are still best of buds and it is so fun to watch them together. Lucy is the sweetest little thing..well maybe not so little. We'll see what the vet says at her yearly exam in a few weeks. Lucy loves to sleep under the covers of the bed and cuddle. Treats on her cat condo are her favorite thing though. Both her and Crosby get them when I leave the house in the morning and they know exactly when that time comes. I barely have to shake the bag and she comes running and hops up to the top level of the condo. It's been a treat having her for this year and it has gone by so fast!

Notes from Home
One month anniversary for Natty and Mims. They are doing well. I've included a picture and apologize for the weird way that their eyes look. I had to use a flash and the red eye did not come out completely. In the picture, Mims is to the left and wrapped around Natty. As I write this, they are in the same spot, just to the right of my shoulder as I sit here on the sofa typing.
Natty is the more confident and acclimated of the two. She welcomes guests, follows me around, and freely asks for pets and spots on my lap.
Mims gets bolder every day. She's moved from sleeping in hidden spots to curling up on top of the sofa (see picture of the two of them) either by herself or with Natty, or lounging on the top deck of the cat tree in the sunshine.
Both cats love to play and explore. Integration with the other two cats (Rosie and Cricket) is going well. They share the sofa, share their feed bowls, share the toys, and will chase each other around. However, they are not ready to curl up together. It's more like parallel play. It's a delight to have all four!

KEIRA
I am the Yin
I am the Yin and Rihanna is the Yang. These 2 are the perfect bookends! Keira is SO sweet and affectionate. She loves to cuddle with people, and has a very loud purr, I will purr if to entice you to pet me! I am not a big cat even if pics may show otherwise.
I'm Siamese in every way except coloring. I make trilling (rrrr-ing) sounds when I run around the house to play, and talk to the other cats to get them to play with me too.
Rihanna and I are always cuddling and grooming each other. We would like to go home together. We have so much love to share with each other, and with our forever home.
Keira is a healthy, happy, outgoing young lady. She is SO soft and responsive to people. Just watching Keira and Rihanna play, cuddle, and interact is hours of amusement. We do not know how they ended up in rescue, but they are so LOVING and people friendly that we feel very fortunate to foster them. They are going to make some lucky family very happy.

Notes from Home
Keira & Rihanna (now named Brigit & Freya, and they know their names by now) are doing great! We really love them, and they love us. They adore attention, and we're giving it to them and spoiling them rotten! They're SO sociable and lovable, always wanting to be near us, and constantly doing something funny or cute. Brigit "helps" me do yoga, is fascinated by running water, loves to explore high places, and brings me her fuzzy pink ball as a "present". She's a real cutie; she seems to have a wide-eyed expression of surprise a great deal of the time that's adorable.
6 month update: We're all doing great! Brigit and her sister Freya are wonderful cats. They groom each other a lot and romp with each other. Brigit especially loves watching running water (including flushing toilets!) and loves watching the birds though the window since I put a bird feeder on the deck outside. She follows me around the house a lot, and has been getting more and more chatty as time goes on - I regularly have "conversations" with her! I've come to appreciate that she's quite smart as cats go, too. She's a real love!
